Sanna-Annukka is a half British, half Finnish print maker & textile designer. Some of her clients include Universal Island Records, British Vogue, Apple/iTunes, M&S & Marimekko. She also has her own company featuring her own personal designs.
She has a particular love for nature & folklore & is inspired by the Finnish landscape & culture as well as Scandinavian designs from the 50s/60s. Her designs reflect her love of pattern, decoration & mythology. She often draws on personal experiences of her childhood memories of spending summers with her family in Northern Finland.
After studying at the University of Brighton as well as selling her screen prints in a London shop her work was noticed by the British band Keane & featured on the groups album cover for their second album ‘Under The Iron Sea’.
